Featured Project

Our latest featured project is an open plan kitchen and bar renovation for clients Paula and Howard Fleming in East Rockaway. The original kitchen in their home occupied what is now the bar area. Paula and Howie love to entertain family and friends, and the limited space in their kitchen and dining room area didn't serve that purpose as well as they would have liked.

Paula is a professional interior designer who had visualized her dream kitchen in her head for many years. She had a very clear vision of what she wanted, and we at R.A. Krendel Contracting, were happy to bring her ideas to life. By adding an extension with a vaulted ceiling, opening up the wall to the dining room and creating a separate bar area with sink and dishwasher, there is now plenty of room for entertaining. In addition, the beautiful windows and transoms in the eating area make a sunny place to dine or just daydream. To view additional photos of the renovation, click here.
