Bob Krendel started out in the remodeling business in 1982 while in college. Bob had always enjoyed working with his hands and it seemed like a great way to earn a living while doing something he loved. He earned degrees in Civil Engineering and Industrial Engineering while continuing to build his remodeling business’ reputation. Fast forward 40 years later and R.A. Krendel Contracting, Inc. is stronger than ever! The company has grown at a steady pace over the years, allowing Bob and his team to serve an ever-expanding client base while maintaining personal control over every project. Today the business is truly has become a family affair with the addition of Bob's wife, Veronica, in the office.
We recognize that your home is both an asset and a haven and that remodeling can be a stressful experience. But, since our work is based on recommendations, we strive to complete your project on time and on-budget! Our goal is to provide you with a completed remodeling project that exceeds your expectations, adds value to your home and provides you with years of enjoyment. Since we perform most of our work within a ten mile radius of where we live we have to do a better job than our competition each and every time.
An important part of our philosophy concerns continuing education. Only full-time, professional remodeling contractors are eligible for certification by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) and Bob Krendel is both a NARI Master Certified Remodeler and a NARI Certified Kitchen and Bath Remodeler. NARI certification is awarded only after completing an intensive course of study and passing a full day exam. Once awarded the certification, NARI Certified remodeling professionals must meet annual recertification requirements involving education and industry related programs.
Bob became a Certified Remodeler (CR) in 2007, achieving the highest overall score in the NYC/LI region. He became a Certified Kitchen and Bath Remodeler (CKBR) in 2009. Bob attained the status of Master Certified Remodeler in 2017. Bob also taught several classes for NARI over the years. He is always interested in keeping up with the latest information in order to do the best job possible for our clients.
